The Summer Wedding Edit

Since we opened our doors for the New Year, our biggest request has been wedding outfits! It seems everyone has a wedding ( if not two ) to go to this summer!

Well fear not as the collections have started to land and there are tons of choice. I have selected some of my favourite pieces from our first drop of Turkish label Exquise & Italian label Silvia Heach, both firm favourites at Divine.

No surprise here but I’ll start off with this fab Tomato red jumpsuit from Silvian Heach. Such a warm, vibrant colour and great for many complexions. A jumpsuit is a lovely alternative to a dress. Comfortable and easy and I love the cross over detail on neckline and pockets. I wear navy shoes here but the styling options are endless. Red with tan is always a winner. Or opt for gold for some added glam.

It’s no secret how much I love yellow. It’s such a sunny, happy colour. I love a pop of colour at Summer weddings. Plus  Summer Weddings are the perfect opportunity to wear yellow, show off your bright side. This beauty feels so good on. Such a great silhouette synched in at the waist with a fab belt and what a beautiful swing in the skirt plus pockets # SOLD 😉

The only issue is the bra situation. Because of the low back, you will need stick on cups or if that is not an option for you, a halter neck bra with low strap. Don’t worry if you love it – you can make it work!

Next up is a toned down rust dress. Another fabulous frock. A beautiful assymetric hemline and belt feature. This will look stunning with bronze or gold shoes & accessories, although for me, when the dress is a statement, keep accessories to a minimum. A fab pair of earrings and statement bracelet is always my choice.

This mint green dress with rust design is such a fresh colour way. Another beautiful silhouette with button detail all the way down the front and a gorgeous flutter sleeve. It’s a breath of fresh air and feels fabulous on. I have picked up on the wine tones in the print and opted for a wine barely there sandal

And my final pick today is this gorgeous purple ditsy floral dress. The pop of green buttons adds a point of difference and gives an edge to what could have been a plain floral tea dress. The shape and silhouette is gorgeous and a winner with pockets. Again another statement piece that does not need over the top accessories. A nude shoe and glam 40s waves and your done!

We’ve made a little video with these outfits included.

Do Have a look.

I Hope I have inspired your summer wedding wardrobe! Lots more to come ladies!
