Entertain at Home – what to wear.

Entertaining at Home Edit
It’s the season of Occasions! Every day we have customers on the hunt for outfits for communions,
confirmations & christenings. We are hearing a lot of people say they are entertaining at home, so they
do not want anything too formal. Comfort is definitely the key if you are taking on the task of hosting a
party. And what is the point of buying something ‘fancy’ for the church/ceremony that you will change
into ‘something comfier’ when you get home? I have put together some looks that will help you
feel comfortable yet stylish at the same time. Helping you feel like the hostess with the mostess that you
are :).

PARTAY!

First up is this black and white brocade dress. It’s the dream! Floaty and loose for comfort, and it has
pockets! The ideal party dress to help you feel relaxed yet glam. I wear a red heel to add a bit of colour,
but you could also style with a little shoe boot for even more comfort.

This green trouser suit is another fantastic option. While the jacket and trouser combo will turn heads at the church, you can remove the jacket and style with a comfy tee for entertaining your guests when you get home. I also love the idea of this crisp little white shirt with embellished motif at the front and beautiful crossover detail at the back. I would even consider white cons for an ultimately laid-back look.

A real showstopper is this green swing dress. Such a stunning shade of green. The fitted waist and swing in the skirt is so flattering and feels extremely comfortable on.Perfect for many occasions indeed.

I must include a maxi here too. For me the most effortless item of clothing is a maxi dress. Flowy and lightweight giving extreme comfort. You don’t even have to worry about tanning your legs! This beautiful daisy print is so fresh and fun, and I adore the deep pockets. A maxi is not for everyone and granted you do need to be a certain height. But I have to say this is a great length as it can skim the floor or skim the ankle, then for anyone vertically challenged, a high heel or wedge
would look best and for anyone a bit taller you may even get away with flats. This is a definite in my wardrobe.

By utilizing a style that is informal and relaxed, you are sure to feel at ease and enjoy yourself, which in turn means your guests are sure to enjoy themselves too!
Let us help you take the stress out of the big day!
