This seasons trend for pale blue was evident all over the catwalks for SS19. Isabel Marant and Balmain all included pale blue in their collections which inspired me when buying our new label Lily from Shanghai.
1970s styling always makes for easy summer dressing and I loved the relaxed yet tailored look of these crop trousers. (also available in beige!) The fabric in these trousers is so luxurious and I love that they are fully lined so not at all see through. I adore the turn up which nods to 70s styling and I have styled with one of our bestselling blouses this season. The Saccino blouse is a gorgeous colour combination of cream, caramel & blue with a high neck and ruffle feature down the front and on sleeves. Add a nude heel to dress up or a tan flat for everyday wear. This look is a definite Must have in my wardrobe!
Also from the Lily collection, we are all in love with this super soft coatigan which will work over anything in your wardrobe for chillier days! I have also styled with this beautiful duck egg jumper which I adore as it is a modern take on cosy knitwear. It’s all about the cut, raw edge and slouchy fit. It is a look that can take you from day to night and I just love the tones of blue together.
Separates are great for mixing and matching so I have also shown it here with this beautiful Aline skirt from Lily. This gorgeous little skirt has such an interesting print and looks great with this jumper and also with just a simple black vest (or opt for an added bit of lace detail like this little beauty.)
Definitely one of my Must Have colours this season is pale blue! Mix and match your tones for the ultimate summer statement.
